The appraisers-norcal.com domain was first registered by the Northern California & Nevada ASA Chapters (NorCal) on June 10, 1996, making it one of the first for an appraisal organization. NorCal commissioned Logic by Design, Inc., a Walnut Creek, California company to develop and maintain their website. When Logic by Design went out of business, NorCal transferred control of the domain and website to the ASA's headquarters in Herndon, Virginia. In July 2003, NorCal engaged The Webshop@servenet.com to renovate the website under the supervision of ASA liason, Ritamarie Sustek, ASA. The first preliminary pages were posted for internal review today, including a Calendar of Events.

Crafted by HTML Writers Guild members, this website works in any current browser, and in lots of older ones too. Its clean, fast loading pages -- suitable for even the slowest modems -- are easy to navigate and rich in content. Produced by hand in NoteTab Pro in HTML and JavaScript, its pages were validated by the latest code-checking software. Its cascading style sheets were produced and verified with TopStyle Editor. Its pages have been analyzed by Bobby and approved for their accessibility to people with disabilities.

Its graphics were minimized both in quantity and, by using Paint Shop Pro algorithms, in size. Parallel coding accommodates visitors who have chosen to disable images and/or Javascript.
