March Meeting: Business Valuation

The March chapter meeting will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at the L'Olivier Restaurant. ASA members are invited to attend the Board of Directors meeting at 5:30 p.m. The Chapter meeting will get underway with a networking mixer at 6:30 p.m. Dinner is at 7:00 p.m. when the guest speaker will be Melvin L. Weisblatt, Executive Director of the California Association of Business Brokers. Mr. Weisblatt's talk, A Business Broker's Perspective, will describe business brokerage, including the pricing of assets -- from real property, furniture, fixtures and equipment to goodwill. The program qualifies for one hour of ASA Continuing Education Credit. Attendance certificates will be distributed during the program. All ASA members are invited.
